C-1The aim of diploma seminar is preparing the student to write Master’s thesis and presentation of the results. Within hours devoted to diploma work student performs planned experiments and is preparing the thesis. Elaboration of Diploma Thesis Concept, outline of Diploma Thesis, preparing, presenting and discussing individual chapters; an analysis and correction of those chapters; preparation for the final exam and defense of the thesis. Seminar includes: - General guidelines for the preparation of MSc Theses. - Structuring laboratory and project reports. - Factors to consider in designing a thesis. - Information search - references and sources - Intellectual property rights - Team working and individual work of student - Communication skills – presenting results of MSc Thesis (each student will present oral reports associated with MSc Thesis, related with literature studies and the obtained experimental results).
