T-P-1 | The purpose of the course is to teach students in the range of: identification and solution to the problems of given urban unit related to the waterfront areas, setting goals for design in urban and architecture scale objects characterized by waterfront functions in the aspect of recreation and tourism development playing important role for the city and its region as developing successful strategies for the implementation of urban design initiatives. Design workshops are preceded by a discussion concerning principles that capture the process of shaping the spatial structure of water recreation and tourism (with special reference to cross-border metropolitan region Szczecin) The main topic of the workshop is to develop the concept of the functional structure of water tourism and recreation areas (with a focus on physiognomic elements of the existing landscape and character of local identity). | 45 |
